Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 to 3:30, with a speech therapist, an occupational therapist, and a behavior team on site. Never more than eighteen adults at a time.
Confidence and independence through hands-on days: cooking, budgeting, errands in the community, technology, and time with peers. The right first step for most families.
Job skills and workplace readiness in three phases: get the job, keep the job, grow in it. Many finish with real work.
A low-key way to start. Adults on the spectrum meet, build friendships, and practice speaking up for themselves.
Most of the adults here are in their early twenties, and their parents are the ones filling out this form.

Month to month, no enrollment fee. ARCKC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and donors cover most of the true cost of each day.
No. We have open seats this season. The steps above usually take about three weeks, and most of that is finding a Zoom time that works for you.
No. Our team includes a speech-language pathologist and works with a range of communication styles. The packet and the trial day help us plan the right support.
We are private pay. Many of our families are still waiting on a waiver, which is part of why our monthly cost is kept far below what the day actually costs to run.
Small groups, a posted schedule, real tasks. Mornings are Pathway to Employment. Afternoons are Embark: a life-skills block, time in the community or the gym, and social time with peers. Staff are with them the whole day.
